in the morning, we had summer celebration, and then we celebrated em's birthday later.
one celebration after another!!
she always has pizza for her birthday dinner.
i made the cake (again) :) but emily did the fancy decorations. (you probably guessed that, if you know her at all) there were all sorts of shapes on there; even a horse! she kept saying, "don't cut there, you'll ruin the so-and-so!" :)
i have never seen more birthday presents for a 9 year old in my life. :D
this present was the "cozy cottage" for calico critters, little animal dolls that have doll houses and stuff. she also got an instant popsicle maker and recipe book, a necklace, and a journal with a lock, to name a few.
i want to end this post with a little 4 month jude update. he is SO CUTE!!!!
isn't he getting so big? he started eating rice cereal last friday. i can't believe how he's growing up!
speaking of getting big, jude is bigger than his bear.

the 4th of july is coming next time, along with a special moment with the jude-dude.
